Stefan is aware of the latency problems and has even moved a few servers to new machines (iZone + iDelteria) so that they can handle excess amounts of players, but iClassic + iEra should still be on an older machine. Stefan misses the point nine times out of ten and is nearly impossible to communicate with, so showing him videos of players lagging probably won't do anything. Hell, you'll be lucky if you can get anything besides "x-x" and "well maybe we can upgrade server x-x" when presenting this to him. But yes, you're right, saying/showing Stefan that there's lag will mean nothing. He knows it is apparent already. |

iClassic isn't suffering from the high ping that the PC servers are getting because of the anti-DDoS. They're just "hiccuping" at large intervals and as far as I know iClassic's machine isn't being stressed by scripts. |

Stefan is French not German......... Eurocenter is in Paris... Usually when the server is lagging, its systems lag too (fort flags freeze, menus dont load, baddies are frozen etc), but none of that is happening, so all this time I thought it was client lag. When I freeze lag, it doesnt seem like everyone else lagged at the same time too. Could this be caused by high player count? |
