You guys know the rules, no discussions about emulation on graalians....

Emulators are very legal. Its the pirated roms that are illegal.  

All the available emulators that run(nes, gbc, snes) are... Bleh. The gameboy one has an insanely tiny screen. Ya retro interface, but let me play fullscreen. Snes one has fullscreen, but insanely small buttons with absolutely no deadzone. Very hard to play on my ipad gba one didn't run very well

There's a setting for the screen size. You can have full screen or the retro look. My fingers always block the view on the full screen setting.

I wouldn't play any of the other emulators. I don't think they get as much attention as the Gba one.  

There is a way to install jailbreak applications onto a non-jailbroken device, however this requires a device registered on Apple's iOS Developer Program.

It is possible to download the GBA4iOS source files, then build and deploy the application onto your device though Xcode.

More often than not, emulators are for running said pirated roms, correct?

Well the GBA one only plays GBA... also I got some horrible screen tearing visual glitching on the GBA one for some reason  

I'm a jailbreak user so this obviously doesn't affect me. I'll have fun playing Pokemon Emerald on my phone though :p

Why act surprised? It's obvious they don't want emulators running legit, so it is no surprise they jumped on this fairly fast.

Just jailbreak if you want to run emulators and such, save yourself the trouble... speaking of which, I'm really tempted to jailbreak my iPad but not sure if it'd be worth the effort.

Jailbreaking is worth it in many ways.. Of course if you have no idea of what you're doing, you're liable to slow it down or kill it.


On the brightside though, with jailbreaking comes Safemode!

That happens a lot when you use an iPad. There are. *ahem* "were" updates for these sorts of things.
