This completely wrecks my second favorite hobby in Zone, which is to collect solo squad hours in showdown. I use my squad to keep track of my total showdown time. Now my wins very rarely add to my squad planet time.

This change is an ineffective way to address the problems with planets. All it does is punish the players who play during off-hours when the game isn't as popular. It doesn't help new squads gain hours, it doesn't promote competition, all it does is eliminate a huge competitive aspect of the game for the majority of the time (since Zone doesn't usually have 150 members).

I hope they reverse this. It just doesn't make sense to me. How are small squads supposed to wrack up hours now? The only way they could do so is when huge squads go to bed... and now when they do go to bed, the planets don't even count.

edit: I misread the change, but this still causes problems

Tashkin changed the planet system, so that squads will only gain "hours" during the time there is a battle in the planet, not when the planet is just there and no one attacking. There is only 150 players on Zone so barely anyone attacks, so it becomes extremely hard to gain hours. The only squads that attacks the planets is Lawl, Aureus and three noob squads, but Lawl and Aureus quit attacking planets due to the change. Tashkin or Stefan fix the planet system or at least change it back to how it originally was, because I'm mad.

Or I hope that was correct.  

Ok, so I misread the top post and thought it meant we only get hours when there are over 150 people online, lol.

Anyways, this causes a new problem: Showdown is not contributing to my squads planet time.

Small squads and solo squads like mine have always depended on Showdown because it is the only planet you can win without having to rely on a large number of squad members. Without it, theres no way small squads will ever be able to gain squad hours.

419 days later.
YAY WE REACHED 1K F THE SYSTEM.

This just makes the 1K hat even more useless, 1K hours (which will take forever) for a hat, lmao.  

We'll just have to see how this rolls out then.  

We were all complaining that we needed a new planets system because we do need one. Well our management staff needed to prove their power, or this is what I'm seeing. The management staff took a step backwards and went against the community's wishes because they want to prove themselves. Instead of listening to the community and going forward this is what they choose. Give the wrong people too much power and this is what happens. I feel like they're trying to make this as an example for us, not to complain. Tashkin can argue that they did make a new system all he wants. In reality he took a broken glass and shattered it even more. Again this is what happens when the wrong people get too much power.  

After 4000 hours in Obs and another 1000 in Rage. Hell basing got boring. This just makes it even worse on you guys x.x What a tragic day for the baser of Zone.  

Wtf... This is for sure the worse update that has happened during Tashkins time as manager. I'm so discouraged to try and get Transcendence to 1l now . I think I'm done with zone for awhile  

This update right here tells you, it's Stefan's fault for the downfall of zone.

With mistakes made by Stefan, so you say, the management team could still fix and improve them. Yet, of course, the team has excluded their attention from the basic community.

No, they couldn't of. If they were to do anything that would greatly improve current iZone, Stefan would of thrown a tantrum and reverted it back.
