Hamas sucks. They've kept us away from Gaza and are misrepresenting the Palestinian people. Btw Kind of off topic but do you know who Mohammad Assaf is?  

I don't fully understand why protestors are also burning Israeli flags...

Because the middle east has always been extremely divided and disorganized and when the west decided to carve out the lines for a bunch of new countries after world war II it made it even worse. So, why not burn Israeli flags just for the hell of it?

I was under the impression that the Egypt-Israel relations have worsened since Morsi came to power, and that Israel was quite concerned from the Muslim Brotherhood's rise to power.
