For some reason I don't mind the dark in my room (quite like it on the contrary), but darkness in every other area of my house freaks me out because of stuff like creepypastas. I usually walk around with headphones on and focus on the music if I need to be in the dark for whatever reason or idly browse Graalians.

This. I don't mind being in the living room or the computer room, because there's a little bit of light. But once everything goes black, I start freaking out. For example, if my brother locked me in a room and disconnected the light, I would literally try to break through the door/wall, because I'm just so scared that whatever is going to pop up behind me to buttrape me and then kill me (buttsecks part is just a joke). I can't even go to sleep until I'm at that point where I feel like I need to sleep or daylight breaks.

I am afraid of the dark too, but not as much as you. I usually stay at home (alone) for 2-4 hours. I am extreamly terrified somone will come in the house and rob us (maybe even steal me O.O), but I usually fix that thought by knowing that will never happen to me and to solve the creepypasta fear simply do not read it (they are all bull**** anyways).
