This thread is just to talk about the new "event rule" and give your opinions on it.

So if you don't know what this new rule is... Well it's simple :

Basically every admin now can only host 1 event / 1 round a day


Surprisingly in my opinion this isn't as bad as it sounds due to the fact that this will increase the competition level in the event area of this game.I know allot of you will start saying stuff like " this is terrible " "this sucks " etc ... You will probably quote it -.- but if all admins started to host every day constantly then this would not be so bad



Anyway leave your opinion here and if you don't like it make a petition ;)

It was founded to make event hats rarer similar to what iZone is doing.  

The rule states that staff should not perform multiple events in a row. It doesn't say anything about doing one event per-day.  

How would you feel if that one event was hosted in a different time zone and you always mossed it  

This is dumb. This only exists because EVERYONE-ONLINE-AND-THIER-DOG crowds graal city south entrance at once waiting intently for the next clue all the while screaming "DO ICERACE" "FURRY DO TEAM FORT" "REEMAS HOST CHANCE PLOX" and then when the clue is given there are huge PK boosting mobs at the nearest narrow path or door.

I think this is a bad and graal can get boring now whit few events :/ just my opinion  

While I do agree with Twilit those are all annoying problems centered around eventing, I like there being multiple events so I have a decent chance at getting in at least one of the warpers. I don't think its good for the hosting admin to just have 1 event and the clue is somewhere clear across the map even with "unsticking" the odds are low you make it in time to beat the pk mob to the warper. If there is gonna be a 1 event limit then I think they should at least send out a general message stating that an event is about to start so everyone can be prepared and have an even chance at reaching the warper. Even if your in a guild with decently experienced players helping you its hard reaching the warper in time. Like it was mentioned before if the events where more consistent this might be ok, but there are to many players and to many hat chasers to have the events limited to just 1 per admin.

I've never had issues getting to the warper in time. Perhaps you should take some time to get to know the map layout completely so your chances will be better.  

just to prove my point: I seen one bush race event this morning and low and behold it was won by Sevant from ET. So sure lets just have 1 event a day and make it a race so the event team guilds can add to there collection. If its just going to be 1 event then do a god damn chance so everybody has a shot at the hat.  

Just because ET win all the time doesn't mean events have to be decreased

Not like admins will host later on at night (Western Hemp.)

No on gets events now :p  

Personally, i am not very in favour of this rule. To begin, i don't find it necessary to have such rule applied, since i don't find a reason for event hats to become more rare and there has always been a time when you lose the warp or seen the message too late to even stand a chance, so a second or even third chance is great. Also, as mentioned before, i personally live in a time zone when not many events happen, so way minimize my possibilities to participate in an event?
