It's just another type of cigarette to me and should be treated as such.

I think if it gets legalized in US it will help stop the flow of money currently going to extremely violent drug cartels in Mexico (not to mention all the shady dealers currently selling it), and that countries that are "in bed" with the USA will get to be more lax about it and even legalize it as well.

Hopefully the feds will back off of Washington and Colorado and let the effects of legalization speak for itself.

except i'll disagree with treating it as a cig. it has a stronger effect than that, but alcohol is much worse and society hasn't exactly collapsed just yet.

Weed will become just as bad as cigarettes, big companies will produce it, put in those chemicals, and use their cash to get lobbyists to make sure they get what they want.

I see these pages and see the uses for the hemp plant and how there are species you would need to smoke 50 pounds of to get high, you would pass out of smoke inhalation before then.

Hemp has a lot of uses, but the pages that support it ruin it by having pro marijuana posts and things about using marijuana. Its just sad. They lose all support and credibility when they do that.  

I don't think it should be treated like cigs, cigs are addictive and have chemicals that are gonna mess you up. Marijuana is a plant.

It's the best way to sell it. Marijuana still produces tar, which is detrimental to health.

Yeah, but they pack cigarettes with rocket fuel, carbon monoxide, Acetic acids, Stearic acid (candle wax), toilet cleaner, paint, cyanide and way more tar.

And then addiction and withdrawal effects are far more severe than cannabis.

Thus, I find it hard to believe your statement of

I agree with F4P in that its legal status should be similar to cigarettes. It just doesn't make much sense to me otherwise.

It is also kind of embarrassing to have such a racist and xenophobic law still intact in this day and age.

once major companies start growing it like the tobacco industry, and use pesticides and genetically modified plants and apply the chemicals and us chemicals that are addictive so they profit more, and the actual plain plant grown naturally wont satisfy what the body is addicted to, the chemicals the companies will put in it, that means that the whole growing it easily and selling it and it being pure and chemical free will never happen.

in fact, because of the USA not taking out big companies, they have been able to get all sorts of power, did you know you can legally own a life forms genetic code? and that if the pollen from that genetically modified plant goes and contaminates someone elses plant, and the companies agents can check and prove that your plants next generation has that genetic code in it, they can sue you for patent infringement.

this means that big corporations like monsanto can do what ever they want.

if marijuana is legalized, it will just be like more horrible cigarette companies. if you work for those companies, you know what they do, and you dont quit, you deserve to die with the companies, thats why i have no qualms with people that blow up those companies buildings.
