The real "Golden age" in iClassic
I just saw snimppa describe the early days of graal as the “golden age” but I think otherwise. I would like to hear when do you think the real “golden age” was. Nov 09-jan-10= stone age-it was new , experimental, and nothing much to do but socialize Feb 10- dec-10= golden age-graal developed into a more competitive game overall. Pkrs killed becaused they enjoyed pkg and not to get on a list. Equal sparring competition was at its best. Hat overloads were just starting. Farmers could farm without having to hack (before all farm areas were ruined). Tower competition was at its best during this time. Jan 11- march-11= facebook/pc age March 11-present= trash age-seems like every major tower guild is allied with each other(lamers) sparring is a joke (except gst )pkg is a joke and then you have the hat overloads, vip items, mounts, morphs. The worse part of this age is that the level of jealousy amongst these players is crazy.

I like 2009-10. It was a good time when you could go off map, make money easily and there wasn't all this VIP crap.

The "Golden Age" is obviously back when the "house jump" was discovered and everyone could go to unfinished areas of the map.

When glitching guilds were still a thing. Oh, how much fun I had going off-map with a guild.

Using house and guild house jump to glitch into undiscovered areas was the most fun I had on iclassic.

The golden age was when we could still duplicate televisions in a playerhouse since they were the most expensive thing.. I think you can buy a rug for 4 times as much now, maybe more.. PKing and spar were becoming more competitive as people began to learn and create techniques, and the guild system was new and not yet abused.. Spring 2010.

wait i joined graal in feb'11 and the facebook server definately did not exist yet. that came way later. The downfall of graal definately started with the custom uploading system (because graphics staff stopped making good heads and bodies) which was... apr'11 i think? i forget how much later vip and fb server came along to further destroy graal. ya basically the golden age was before all that. and when guilds and personal stats were legit |

Most Classic "golden ages" I've seen mentioned are referring to PC Classic, so this is nice. iClassic definitely had one. For me, it was when we could guild house jump. The guild I was in at the time was at its peak then, so that just added to the fun. ( Mattkan will know what guild I'm talking about )

Anyone remember the major admin **** up with the invisible horses (note this was like half a year before the actual horses came out)?
