I haven't played the game, but from what I've seen it only moves towards you if it's not in your line of sight. However you only lose if you look directly at it(at a faster rate dependent on the distance between you and him) so you can either:

1) keep him in view in the side of your vision or
2) keep him directly in your line of sight, but behind an object like a tree

Second tip I picked up from a video.

I'm not too keen on horror games. I still have Prenumbra and Amnesia sitting on my desktop waiting to be played. But I have watched a few videos from some of my subscriptions(Seananners, Hannah from Yogscast) and a few other videos out of curiosity. One was a video of a guy getting all 8 notes and explaining his strategy(including the one about keeping him behind trees to stop him from moving).

Ive still yet to see anybody beat the game on the latest version. He used to not follow till page 1 so you could roam and plan it all out.. Now you can get caught before page 1

That's because the weeping angles are freaking scary. Although, imo they lost their creepiness when they showed them moving around...

I will probably never play Slender. I have an Amnesia key I got from a humble bundle that I will never play.
I will never finish the Silent Hill game I purchased.

Why? Because these games scare the living hell out of me.

Why? Because these games scare the living hell out of me.

Silent Hill isn't that bad. Like I've said above I'm not too swift with horror games and even if I do start playing them I tend to just end up cutting it off before I even get scared.

But Silent Hill is a psychological horror game. It becomes really easy to just go ahead and play the game when you realize all the creepy sounds you trigger and stuff lead to nothing. Nothing ever happens. In Silent Hill 3 there's this room in the mall with a mannequin and when you turn the corner a typical horror chord plays and the head falls off. That's when you start to panic and think something horrible is gonna happen... but nothing ever does.

They just like ****ing with your head.

I'm the type of guy who will turn his laptop off, runs and hide in the bathtub and waits a few hours when somebody sends me a screamer or something stupid on Skype. I mean, if I were to play one of these games, I wouldn't have to go to the toilet for a good month.
