I see you have a problem with the NPC placing, use this.x= and this.y= to place them correctly, you may also use the setimgpart to cut the image (like the bamboo rod icon) and make it fit thru the wall. I see you also have problems with the placement of Details (like I have) - if you could train and add some smaller details your levels would look great in the future. @your outside level, the bushes around the house aren't exactly needed, keep some bushes on the front - move your house to the middle to avoid blank space and try to add lots of details, sometimes a beach with water next to it or difference houses as an horizon would look great. What MSM said "avoid using square shaped levels" by that I think he means to use move shaped angles in one. I'll provide you the iEra Tileset when I can. Good Luck on being a LAT, I'd recommend you listening to Snake Rekon, he got me where I am now. |

He doesn't really have a problem, he's just not aware that you're able to do those things, just as you were also not at first. House in middle is lame, the blank space is fine, can easily be fixed with patches of dirt or sand and other outside images such a bench area or perhaps a car park / parking area. Centered houses don't always looks that great, it really does depend on what plan for the building and it's outside use, do you want a wide open space for running, shooting, placing furniture in, or do you just want a small walkable area that allows for very little detail just to cover space. It's all situation dependant really. I think his house placement is fine where it is at the moment, i'd probably add some flowers or dirt near the right hand side of the bush to clean up some of that straightness. @ Jester, it's more of a driveway than a street, not all houses have garages afterall. |
