Has anyone ever played this game? Basically, it's a simluator, where you run and manage your own amusement park. You choose everything, from landscapes to whether you want mustard or ketchup sold with your Hotdogs. It's really fun, I'd reccomend it to anyone. I remember playing the really old one with the basic graphics, there's now a third in its series, I'm going to get the demo...

I miss all the tycoon games. I loved them more than pokemon. Especially zoo tycoon where you let the tigers loose xD roller coaster is a great one too

Roller coaster tycoon 2 is one of my all time favorites, talking about it makes me wanna play it. RTC3 sucks ass and the new RTC 3d is coming out soon for the 3ds and im a little angered that they didnt make RTC4. Stupid Atari is slowly losing money and went to the market that gives the most cash.

Anyone else have the Kellogg's version of RTC 1 form the cereal box ;D?

PC is the most pirated platform for games. Why do you think Valve started making games for consoles?  

Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 was the best. It was the simplest one and really easy to make coasters.

Perhaps but piracy is still very much rampant on consoles (see 360 ban waves), they just have a much larger base. Valve's games also work with a controller, so it's almost a no brainer to port them to console and make even more money off their work, so I don't think piracy really held that much weight at all.

There's always going to be piracy but the counter to that is making a good enough game that people will want to pay for it and buy it, unfortunately for companies like Atari they probably don't have the money or want to take the risks to do so.

I agree but not only because its a broader base but because its much easier to pirate on a PC than to pirate something for a console. Security against piracy is much stronger an consoles as well.
