1. That's the whole reason people want the system...

2. That would take too much time to do, Staff already deal with uploads. I don't even see why trade would need to be monitored.

3. 5000 players, only 100 would get the item/hat?

3. Like I said before, trading would completly change graal's economy to that of supply and demand, except with more supply than demand. What's the point of trading for a hat if you could just buy it in a store. You would need to be smart and fast with your trades with the limited stock.

I'm almost 100% a trading system will never be added though, due to all the complications it brings with it.

I am strongly against a trading system, as it would completely change iClassic's economy. However, if it was ever added the only way I see it working out is:
-All hats and items added before the trading system would be not tradable
-All trades would be monitered by admins and recorded
-Limited stock would be put on hats/items in shops (only 100 copies of the item available before it sells out.)
-Guild hats/mounts, GST hats/items, and event hats/items would be not tradable.

You should come play tf2 with me, I'll teach you the ways of virtual economy with endless resources. In the long run, it just ends up with more moolah for Stefan.

People would want old hats, not new ones. They buy gralat packs. They trade for old hats. Profit.

That or they could make everything more expensive, so less people would buy in the first place and people would trade for cheaper etc.

Limited Stock won't benefit Graal Classic with a trade system... It'll completely shatter Graal Classic. Hats are the largest of Graal Classic's market. Limiting them is a Bad option to consider when it comes to a trading system (Because it doesn't affect the system at all to be honest)

And actually, there are some players that are willing to sell their hats lower than the price it already is because they don't wear the hat as much anymore. Its like if you go to GameStop. Theres not always a limited stock and they've got used copies of the game you want. Some people are willing to buy most of their games used rather than new

But if anything.. I don't think iClassic is ready for a trade system at the moment. You do have a few points that stands out against it

Sure a trading system on a server where you could have higher ammounts of the same item is bad while its good to have it on a server where you can only have 1 of each item

1. Items wouldn't lose their value because we aren't making more of them, they are just changing ownership and I'm pretty sure if someone has a really value able hat they won't go trade it.

2.If the trade system is made right we shouldn't need it to be monitored.As in a menu that shows exactly what you are trading and with who.

3. Graal doesn't have an economy, the currency is at an infinite quanity. And why trade then buy? I have a lot of really ugly old hats I hate looking at that I would give up for a lot of in-stock hats and I know I'm not the only one.

I kinda agree though, I. Don't see a trading system in our near future, but I do believe it would help a lot.

Hats aren't the only thing you'd be able to trade. The trade system could be a project they could work on. Working on little bits at a time and testing it out. I think there would be more money to be made for Stefan if this was implemented. Players would buy more items to trade with others. The trade system isn't impossible. The one on Gaia is efficient.

The trading system is very much an 'idea of the moment' but it really wouldn't add that much to the game itself. Gameplay is what we need, and gameplay-oriented content is the only thing I can really advocate as a choice.

I agree that we do need gameplay, but a trade system would be beneficial as well. It gives players more opportunities to create their own little shops and trade for an item they've always wanted. I don't see why it can't be worked on at the side. It would be nice if it was at least taken into some consideration and given some thought.

Make it more like PC Classic. This stuff is already made. Quests with great storylines. Cool advanced stuff like the Zorbi Ring that lets you explore underwater worlds (every water level in PC Classic had an underwater counterpart, and it was AMAZING).

Open up the rest of the map, specifically Avalon and Babbord.
