I've been avoiding this thread trying not to run into spoilers as I just ordered the DVD for Book 3. However, I heard Asami is being shipped with Korra now...? What the heck is up with that?

Just saw the legend of korra finale. It was pretty good. I liked how they handled korras character growth (finally). The action was great and you could really feel the bump in the animation budget at the end. Only thing I didn't like at all was the ending. Honestly, this wasn't a good end at all. It could have been a good or even great end for the season, but this is the end of the show as well as the entire avatar universe. It felt more like "Well, that's it, were done now", instead of a fitting goodbye to the avatar universe. I wasn't really satisfied on that note. |

Why? Because they're two females? In my opinion they did a good job of actually building the basis of their relationship the last two seasons and being very subtle about it. Basically after Korra was crippled her and Asami started getting close as she was taking care of her(and supporting her through her problems). Then they started implying there was something deeper with their interactions in season 4. I don't see why people feel it was forced. |

I agree Korra and Asami were prefect so much trust between them. Whoever Mako finds he will make them happy he did grow up a lot, very loyal guy. |

Meanwhile, everyone calling "The Legend of Korra" gay... is officially correct.

Mako and Korra felt so forced imo. the interactions that they shared were clammy and wooden to me. I'm so pleased with the way Korra and Asami's relationship built - it wasn't stuck in the box of "hey they're dating which means this has to happen", and their exchanges were natural, and warm. it felt true to the characters I think
