It's about who you surround yourself with, or who surrounds you, so it's subjective. :o
I see more people looking to learn and willing to take rather harsh criticism to do so than people who think they're already well versed.

Truth is, theres alot of quality developers that still play graal, its just they dont want to work for a new and/unattractive server.  

Funny how this still applies.... Not what the people in the replies said, but what rookie said in his opening.  

I think it's kinda neat how small the remaining Dev community is, such that you see the same few devs working on multiple servers.

For the most part, they are very friendly and helpful and like to help each other out. (Of course there are always those outliers that break this norm).

Of course, this is just from the perspective of a PC Graal Player, not an iPlayer.
(Why play on an inferior device?)  

The thing that's truly interesting is how staff treat eachother. Most players feel negative towards staff, do to things out of that staffs control, like someone stealing their head etc. Most of us are really just normal people with a common hobby that brought us together. Those who don't wish to improve, simply won't. I wouldn't label modern developers as less open minded than older ones, there are just the few who are arrogant and believe they are the best. The team I work on is full of artists more talented than I am, and I am always trying to improve.
It's not really fair to throw stones at developers in general, but rather you should be remembering we are the same as you.

That being said I agree there are some arrogant jerk developers *·*

I mean calling 'LoreMasters' or Storyline-Writers 'staff' is a joke in my opinion. No matter how good (how bad) he is, all I know is they've hired people who are having potential to improve at writing(?) instead of someone who's made for the LoreMaster and being perfect. Don't ask me why, it seems ridiculous to me aswell.

Loremasters ARE staff in my eyes. They work hard to pump out some decent plots for quests and such. Anyways what I highlighted in bold is ridiculous.
