Sick to death of ass holes like you posting on creative corner threads with short statements like this that a) don't help the OP improve in any way and b) make you look like an ass hole. If your criticism isn't constructive and/or won't help the OP improve, then just don't ****ing post, OK?

You need to work on your shading. First read some tutorials, learn all the terms. And keep practicing. Here are some that helped me a lot: 1. http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/foru...s.asp?TID=5692 2. http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/foru....asp?TID=11299 3. http://www.natomic.com/hosted/marks/mpat/ |

That's some pretty good gfx. Try to improve a tad bit in your shading. Overall, that's some great talented art! :3

Tree hat looks a bit plain. Also remember textures - metal and fabric should have different shading. And your shading isn't that smooth. Nice outlines. |

Work on your shading. Have a determined light source. I prefer using the upper left. Idk why. But ALWAYS have a light source and keep it there. There are many hats I've seen without a consistent light source, which keeps changing (example: 2013 fireworks hat) I also have noticed you have the same problem with the ones at the top. Try drawing a sun at the top left of each square or something. Example using your work: For the top left hat, when facing up the light is in the middle. For the facing left one, the light is coming from the right. |
