All you've done now is enabled trading without the safety of it... So while trading exists, it isn't safe for players. So I don't really understand how this helps anybody. If Stefan thinks trading will hurt iEra then this is hurting iEra. And since players don't want to be scammed, it hurts the players. Lose/Lose situation. Not only that, but don't you guys say scamming is legal? Because you guys can't deal with it and prove who scammed? You're just hurting the players, really.

Hit my year mark playing iEra last week haven't been scammed yet. Why; because I havn't dropped my items to anyone, and if I do trade they drop to me first no questions asked those who do get their item from me win/win. I only wish there were more trustworthy people in the world.

End of the day, trading system will hurt this game more than it will help it in the long run. In regards to a different post, if people miss event items, thats how it should work, they are meant to be unique and such like :3 |

I don't get why whenever a trading system is mentioned everyone thinks about trading anything such as guns and that it will ruin the economy. Why not make a trading system for JUST droppable items? The only change it could possibly make is no more scamming.

Don't add the trading system. Let the people think before dropping.

Part 1: Trading fees. How about for a certain percent of the melees worth you have to pay. (e.g 15% of the total values of the trade. 50k + 50k is 100k. 15k fee.) or you have to pay $3.99 a month to trade with no or a reduced trading fee. And also add a $0.99 fee per every trade. Part 2: Or only trade things with no set value, for every damage, every effect and unique purpose to up the new value. Also the trades have to about the same values. (e.g one crab dagger plus a spd dagger = one shamrock dagger and 100 burgers. Values [only examples] Crab dagger: 10k Spd dagger :20-40k Shamrock dagger:30k Candy cane: 10k Pitchfork:7k Burgers:10 A crab+candy cane+1000 burgers=shamrock dagger. |

![]() The problem is not about the lack of a trading system, or a a system to facilitate trading. The issue, in regards to to scamming, is the player. Players are at fault for trusting someone they shouldn't be or players being greedy and scamming. We can keep things the way they are, in regards to what could be given away. Guns and "non-tradeables" should still not be traded for the exact reasons as quoted. In my opinion, anything that could be bought via Gralats in a shop, should not be able to be traded. This will prevent the trading market from making a significant impact on the gralats economy. Emphasis on the "significant impact" due to the fact that there will still be ways to affect the gralats economy via the auction house. I think a trading system will be healthy for the game community. We will need to re-evaluate which items could be traded or not though. It will prevent players from being scammed... although it won't eradicate the issue. Players will still get scammed (via account identify scamming, false promises etc). It would still reduce the scamming issue significantly though. It promotes a community, since it facilitates interactions with other players. As mentioned previously, if we removed all item dropping etc, it will just be like a "single player mode" but with online friends. A trading system helps promote relations and interaction between players. For example, a player will remember if another player gave him a really good deal in a trade, or if another player helped him by giving free shells etc. As I said, it'll be healthier for the game community than not having any interactions other than PK/gang related stuff. Someone mentioned a "gift" option, there's a flaw with that idea because players will simply just use the gift feature to trade AND scam. |
