Player Hosted Auctions
This isn't guarenteed, this is just me writing down my thoughts on the idea. Instead of a trading system, maybe a Player Hosted Auction system would work better. Players could choose what item to auction (could restrict certain items such as items you buy in a store players couldn't buy an item and auction it for a higher price to unaware players), how long to auction it for, and maybe a minimum bid. Players could auction their own items and reduce spam for staff to host auctions all the time, and fix the timezone problem of auctions. To prevent players going in a low populated room and giving items to friends for a low price/not making much money on an item, if it doesn't reach a certain amount of money, the player gets their item back. Maybe limit the amount of auctions a player can host a day so players don't get rich quick and ruin the economy. Anyways, this is just me writing down my thoughts on this concept. Thoughts on this? |

Player Hosted Auctions
Players can put up their items for auction Dropping is disabled for all items in return Player Makes profit on highest bidder of item, highest bidder of course gets the item Every item has a baseline of what it has to sell for so people don't get jipped? like BAR minimum is 100K (Half it's price) etc Thoughts? (Idea by Chaotic) Reason being if we are to take away dropping items, people will still want a way to give away items or offload some. This was you can't be scammed and you make profit. |

Also could there be an infinite number of auction rooms? So players who want to auction off there items don't have to wait for a room to open. |

but what if the player doesnt like the price they ended up selling their item for? It will lead to more complaining

Great idea. But about the "minimum bid," what if a player just spams an auction everyday: They put up a worthless item and make the minimum bid 800k and make the time a couple hours. That would just waste time for other player auctions. Maybe if the minimum bid for the same player isn't reached after they've tried several times they would be banned from player auctions for a week (can't enter the player auction level).
