I'll give my condolences to the victims. But, this thread had made cancer, for such an atrocious tragedy.
I respect her for cancelling her tour because I do think that if she continued it, it would affect her and the people in the concert with the idea of "there's a terrorist". It may also say that she's giving respect to the fans who had died instead of quickly moving on and continue her tour. Wouldn't it be implanted on the heads of the parents if Ariana continued her concert, "Does she have respect on the people who died at HER concert?"

No one (or, at least I'm not) is saying she should be unaffected. That would be lunacy. Some people would say that she didn't respect who died if she continued... But others would look at her strength and perseverance, and would look at her as continuing her tour in the victims' honor. It isn't so clear cut.
What if she donated the proceeds from one of the concerts to the victims' families? That would honor the dead and show that she won't just bow to terrorizism. I fully understand that continuing would've been very difficult, but in the big picture this is stuff that can cause a lot of change for good, and she's crucial to that. It is a tragedy, but how you(or we, as people) respond to this is important and Ariana has the tools at her disposal to guide the narrative.

If she had reacted on something she can't control, people would give ideas on her like, what's her position for dealing something she can't even deal with? What she can deal with is the safety of her fans and her respect to those people who died. How can we say she can fix this at her current position? She's a teenage girl making records and songs, not a political leader who can order the army for protection.

This is a snarky response from me, but she can deal with stuff like this... She, like the rest of us, are not powerless when it comes to terrorism. She has more power than most of us though. She has influence. If you don't believe me about how much impact she could have, look at John Lennon and his protests of the Vietnam war.
On a side note, it isn't like people who are talking about terrorizism or what this all means are disrespecting the dead in some way. We obviously care, because we are concerned not just with the effect but with the cause. We don't want to see something like this happen again.
