play zone for first time in a year and a half
equip rusted pez
time to see what changed
guns are slow AF
ok thats fine
open fire on a scrub
takes 14 shots to kill him
everyone else AFK wake the **** up and destroy me

WTF geno plz, remove this garbage, theres a flag thats something along the line of recovery time, set that **** to 0. If alex is a prick like tashkin and won't allow you to change the flag then go into the guns and change the recovery timer to 0 for every single weapon. This is absolutely unacceptable, you should be rewarded for landing a shot, not punished for it, if your trapped you should be punished for getting trapped not make it out of a trap with 1 hit while absorbing 3 bullets. Especially since no meta evolving changes have been made and were still stuck with the current spar guns garbage. Combat is sooooo slow, please speed it up. Seeing how someone just absorbed 5 shots of my pez, I'm guessing it's at the default of .5

also wtf happened to grenades.

Grenades were nice. Should be an item though. And would be a good useless addition to the grenade shop

I set all the hit timers to 0, theres another script somewhere the affects this and alex tried to set it to 0 and it didnt work, im not sure what tashkin did when he last changed it. Also, the hit timers are bugged beyond belief, ive been asking for someone to fix them for ages now and no one will take the time to do so. All of this is really messing up gameplay. And the guns arent that slow, thats an exaggeration, but theres another bug that prevents me from making them faster, most range from .2 to .25, any faster than .2 (literally .19) allows a glitch to occur where you can shoot the gun at chaingun speeds by tapping at a slow pace. Im working with what i have, a lot of things we're changed during draguns term and then cookies term especially. Im trying to get this all sorted out but not getting the help to do so

Tashkin said it wasn't intentional, he didn't notice until GIT was near the end of his 2nd GA adminstration.

What the **** happened when i made it all 0 and the hit detection worked like a charm. Literally nothing wrong at all you were dying in a blink of an eye if you landed all the shots. Also on the slow tap fire thing. Thats not a bug or glitch. Thats called a timer. The timer resets after x amount of seconds. Some numbers are easier to hit than others making people think the rof is insanely fast. Example of this is the m4 and sten on iera. The sten is a more popular gun because while it IS worse than the m4, it was far easier to use because the tap fire was an easy to hit .24 while the m4 was the dreaded .2. Anything less than .19 is generally easy ro hit while numbers like .2 are hard to hit. Also .19 and .15 are very hard to tell apart by eye. The difference is pixels. But there is a difference and a large one at that. Also the semi auto guns never ever EVER had consistant T2K as its not auto so theres variance in the times because your would have one shot fire at .18 another at .187, .182, .189, .193 etc

Thats a load of horse**** because during my 2nd term i shut off the hit timer entirely and that too worked like a charm.

The rapid fire thing was just too much tho regarding balance purposes, i tried it for a while before making this decision to roll them back to .2, which worked really well. That timing script isn't even accurate, which played a part in how the bug was done of course. And idk what happened to the hit timer and detection, got screwed beyond belief before i got hired, even after setting the timers to 0 its still registering around .2-.3 and its too forgving, and the hit detection is bugged too, like if we shot at each other and i hit you .0009 seconds before you hit me, your bullet won't do dmg. Sometimes it might activate a random effect like poison. Also, since we're on this subject, another bugged ive asked to get fixed and hasnt, is that all guns, even the beamer, are activating frenzy mode when you get a kill and giving them extra dmg. Its all really ridiculous.

Too much though? Too much? ***** i balanced those guns perfectly fine with rapid fire. My guns were shooting waaaay faster than yours arnd there was very little complaining from the community. All guns automatic shoot at .265 seconds and become chainguns at .15. Literally worrying about nothing. The timing script is 100% accurate. I have no idea what crack your smoking. I tested this a million times. I can prove it too. Ok go into your stop watch app on your iphone. Get a guns rof, start it and tap lap. Goal is to get as close to the rof as possible You are doing it right if the number is higher than the ROF. If its lower the gun wont fire and your pattern will be thrown off. Learn the tap rhythm. Then transfer it over to graal. ??? You will get maximum weapon efficency.
Please stop making up lazy excuses to slow the game down and cut down on spam weapons.

As for the timer did you check the player and NPCs? if the player and NPC hit timer is off then the guns will be 0 if you set to 0. Might wanna check that

Well its gonna stay that way until carlito nerfs them all. I got fired, all stemming from trying to get things done. Now, the weapons admin position is gone, the zp are now in charge of balancing guns. Myself being the only one with a clue on how to do it is gone, so its a blind drive now.

Also, ghetto, there were two gun admins in between our terms, they screwed all that up

LOL ZPs in charge of guns? Hell, I'm just going to say it because Fried Rice is incompetent and doesn't do ****. The ZP, Oscar, was that Gitaz douche who nonstop trash talked FR, Alex, Tashkin, and all of the iZone staff and server. I guess his bashing FR was actually true since FR never handled it once I brought the situation up to him. My point is: ZPs are mostly incompetent when it comes to development positions. Their job is to enforce the rules and be social. Just as developers usually suck at following rules and being social and polite. You can't have ZPs deciding gun stats.

Woah what? You got fired? Wtf, when? And why are kids that are never on in the first place monitoring gun stats? We have 16 zps and this still happens because they are NEVER ON.
