Cyan Collection (My GFX <3)
 

So I was doodling on GIMP again, bored out of my skull.
Of course, I know it's called "Collection" and right now theres one piece of work...
But it's 10:40 and I started this weird blob pet to add to it, but im super tired and havent finished it. So I'm gonna sleep, and hopefully tomorrow (?) I'll finish it and add it.
I'm gonna be adding a lot of stuff frequently (hopefully) all of which are going to be in cyan! Cyan is my favorite color and it just seems appropriate.
So yay! Please give me feedback on what I have so far, but do remember I am fairly young and am used to drawing curvy lines with delicate detailed shading on paper, and that sort of.... doesnt transfer over too well. I'm still kind of learning GFX xD

I really like the eyes on the cat, but maybe you could try making the feet more rounded? They look a bit boxy :)

I'd add more definition to the handle to separate it from the blade, maybe put the lighter cyan to the top and darker cyan at the bottom (away from th light source). At the moment it kinda just looks like a kiwi blade put through a photoshop filter. But, could be really cool with a little bit more definition!

well i don't really know how to make stuff like this so well done :)

You should add an outline. Could help a lot. Also this dark parts (view attachment below) seem not to fit. One more tip: In my mind it´s fine using the rotation tool but in the future you should try spriting your own rotation.
But good job keep going. I´m sure you can make some awesome stuff ;)

Update # 2 for Ice Dagger
I gave up on pet cuz It sucked too badly
any ideas, anyone?

Well 2 things: For an ice dagger you should maybe go from cyan to blue/white. Also it´s a little bit too big for a dagger, would fit more a scimitar.

But else a nice update

Hmmm. Seems a bit too gorey.. I don't know the blood just doesn't seem to fit the ice theme.. Perhaps if if was lighter or white like what callimuc said, I feel like that would make it more icy, but if your gonna make it bloody I think a more textured and weathered look would fit to make it seem old and used in battle, but then it would be grey and not cyan :/

Okay well by ICE DAGGER i didnt exactly mean it was made of ice.. just the only name i could think of, and what the first one was called xD

Like a kiwi knife. Everyone knows those things belong on a kitchen counter and not stabbing people on the streets. Kat I love this =o but I agree with Higs and make it slightly weathered. Use a darker shade for the bloodstains and it'll look a tad better :)

Made everything slightly darker as to appear 'weathered'. Edited the blood.
