The Sims 4... And 5, and 6, and so on, and so forth...
Lol just putting this here for the people that don't know yet, EA has registered domain names for websites of so many sequels of the sims that it has become downright ridiculous! I've counted up to The Sims 10 so far! I'm amazed that EA is so ambitious, probably too much for their own good :0

Theyre going through wi it because the sims can go up to 100+ games. Some scientists have said that the sims is a scientific marvel, it brings up the theory that we could all be in a video game right now. EA can make the sims so advanced in the future that it could be an exact replica of our world, except we control it... No joke.

I love sims :)

I like making houses on it. Not so much the whole controlling lives thing.

It's business, has nothing to do with actually making said games. Not registering those domain names means others can.

And also yes, people could possibly use it for scams or such. I don't suspect we'll ever see a Sims 10, but with the direction many franchises are going(where they want annual releases) it's highly possible, especially if Sim's sticks around for another decade or so. However, EA gets most of their money off the Sim's franchise via expansion packs, not the actual game release... but it's good business to think ahead and avoid potential obstacles by assuming your franchise will survive that long. |
