I just mad that there is level to mine things
I prefer the old mining for ol west

However, the new mining system has more benefits compared to the old mining system. I'll list it out the pros and cons for it according to my experience.
New Mining System
Pros :
Can mine specific minerals, such as Coal.
Steady profit.
Has a range of pickaxes with different durability.
Handy for Crafting
There's level system to gain access to specific pickaxe and minerals


Cons:
Takes time to level up.
Have to spend more money to level up.
Bats and falling rocks will occur if you remain idle.
Rock Hoggers (Because of the 5 second *Ownership*)


Old Mining System
Pros :
Have a chance of hitting more than one rock at the same spot.
No mobs appearing and attacking.
Fixed price for pickaxe.
No level system.


Cons :
Minerals mined is based on chance (With coal having a low chance)
Profit can increase or decrease depending on chance (Again...)
Can't mine specific minerals.
Can take a long time getting specific minerals for crafting

Does anybody have any idea on how we can improve the new mining system? Should we make it so you can only own one rock at a time? Should the sell price be increased? Don't just say "yeah it should be increased" because you want to make a lot of money, you need to think logically. Should pickaxes last longer? Be cheaper? Anything

Some people think that you do not get so much money on the jobs!

Well let me tell something. Ol west have a lot of jobs. That you can earn money from some of them not so much but do you know why?

Because stuff is very cheap on ol west. As they said it is not a pay to win game. Like a gun for 10k is nothing i even think that is the expencieds gun that exist(not sure) just an example

If you move to iera you will see guns that cost 200.000 gralats!

So in my opinion the precis shall not be incrased, but maybe the pickaxe. Well i do not mine so much was just and example thanks sorry for hopping of topic!

Pickaxe health suggestion:

Old:
-Wooden pickaxe: 500 health
-Iron pickaxe: 600 health
-Golden pickaxe: 800 health
-Diamond pickaxe: 1000 health

My suggestion:
-Wooden pickaxe: 500 health
-Iron pickaxe: 700 health
-Golden pickaxe: 900 health
-Diamond pickaxe: 1200 health
(Each pickaxe has 200 more health than the one of the level below, except for the diamond pickaxe which gets 300 more health than gold since it takes a lot more levels to achieve)

Honestly i think the prices are fine(just that new rocks should be added between big lvl jumps). But what i really would like to see get added would be chance of getting more then 1 ore per rock(very slim chance and increase with your lvl) higher lvl pickaxes swing faster(also increase while you lvl) But MOST of all i want to be able to craft custom pickaxes(like very costly pickaxes to make but they are really good, nice look, and can embed gems and stuff like ruby emeralds etc.) and if craftable picks were added the ability to repair them. Also you should use different gems or ores on your pick to ethier make it swing fast durable do more damage or a little of all 3.

Also i think the exp per rock mined needs to be fixed cuase when theres for example a 10 lvl jump instead of a 5 lvl jump the exp per rock doesnt increase much. I dont know but i also think the rocks hp is a little high.

My suggestion is that we don't need level and the health can be 100 for 100g pickaxe and 200 for 200g pickaxe.

Ok.. I've increased the stats for the pickaxes like iBubble mentioned.

Wooden: 500 HP
Iron: 700 HP
Gold: 900 HP
Diamond: 1200 HP

Yes, it needs to be increased i think ive made it to level 50 and that takes a while to get to for me, and ive noticed i only mke about 80$ profit every goldpickaxe i use ive just given up and gone to bug catching

When mining ores, it should also give you a random chance to get extra ores instead of one all the time.

Can we have more than 1/2 jobs that doesn't require you to actually buy the tools needed to earn.
Quite bored of doing the river mineral finding...

That's actually quite reasonable.
Probably the chance rate of getting 2 ores should be less than 30% (since mining isn't really that easy to do now...).

- Give more exp for thew Coal Rock
- Make it so people can't mine 2 rocks at once
- Extend the time it takes when someone stops mining a rock and then a player can then continue with it. It's bloody frustrating to have your pic break when the rock was only a few hits away from being mined, then some scrub comes and mines it for you. Make the timer 20 seconds at the minium.

Alpho, does the transition of pickaxe durability (say from wood all the way to diamond) affect the mining speed of say one rock? If not, you should consider the idea of having a faster mining speed for all minerals (depending on level) in accordance to the pickaxe's durability. I would also like to see an increase in time for the possession of rocks. 5 seconds is too short. Receiving a pm, and then answering it always leads to some crafty person putting their 4 damage in on the rock as soon as the 5 second grace period is over.

I increased the time to 10 seconds

Also now there's a chance to gain 2 ore from mining per-rock

The maximum level has also been increased to 100
