Although Konami has recycled MGS:V to develop MG:S, I thought it looked decent based on the gameplay footage released a week or two ago. Yes, it isn't anything a Metal Gear game would strive to be, but it seemed fun. It should've definitely been released as a DLC for MG:O, but that's Konami for you.
