It has been a while since the last time there was an *official* Graalians Minecraft server, but we've decided to give it another go. The server will be hosted by MattKan, whom you should be already familiar with.

With everyone being on summer vacation right now, we have decided to host adventure maps to keep everyone entertained while we're all waiting for Minecraft 1.3 to release. Each Friday there will be a different adventure map added to the server and there will be a thread outlining what it is. If any of the adventure maps are generally disliked by the community as a whole they may be replaced early.

Our first adventure map is a SkyGrid:

SkyGrid is a challenging survival map for Minecraft in the style of SkyBlock. It's formed out of a grid of random environmental blocks, with a gridlength of 4 meters. There are no rules, make whatever goals you want. Try and find the random chests and spawners placed throughout the map!

As usual, the basic rules of a Minecraft server apply. We don't accept players who grief other players' content, who use x-ray mods, who hack, or generally make the server an uncomfortable place. We do have a whitelist, and this will be the same across all adventure maps and will be carried over to the 1.3 server. If you'd like to participate, post your Minecraft account in this thread!

What I recommend doing is starting out and making a cobblestone spawner. A little cobblestone goes a really long way in this. There's an explanation in the video.

the spawn area not being editable was really making it hard, maybe we could have the protected area be a platform since you cant edit in the spawn chunk?

also advice for anyone, turn down render distance to short or it lags alot.
its not a favorite of mine and at the start felt kinda silly, but i guess it would be a bit cool and a change.

also for some reason im no longer on whitelist?
