Well, I've decided to try something new. Not post my completed work but post as I work so you guys can see the steps I take. I also am trying to time myself to see what takes longer etc. Feedback is welcome, just know it is not completely done yet

1) I picked out my colors a bit and did a little line art. I decided to do a little coloring as well, I do not like the arm so that will be changed in the next one. (Time took: 43 minutes). Will work more/post tomorrow toodles  

Wow, looks really nice. Shading is spot on from a layman's perspective. Can't wait to see the finished result. Love the colors, by the way.

Nice work! The lineart has a few jaggies and the colors could use some work. Other than that it's my favorite thing you've made!

Your colors only change in the brightness factor when they should change in hue and saturation also.

update two

finished the line art of the body, made the horns pop out a bit more, fixed the arm (kinda) colored in body minus shading, did the belly (not finished) (Time spent: 24 minutes)

I'll add the side by side with Dylan's colors tomorrow for now I am a bit tired. Goodnight all  

I like it! It's really good.

Next do a Taniwha :3

Jester already said above that he just added the base colors and that he would shade it tomorrow. Elusive pretty much repeated that.  

I like it, Jester. I would like to see how it turns out ;)
