Level: Pub side room
Here's something I knocked up in an hour or so. I spent quite a while getting the floor detail just how I liked it, and I think I've done a good job with the walls. The water running from the gaps in the walls is animated too. What are your opinions?

I personally hate (and always have hated) the use of the doorway tiles as flooring. It's creative, sure, but it hurts my eyes. So that, I don't like. I also don't, and never have, liked the piling up of the default house roof tiles as walls. I do like the layout of the room though. It's simple, and in a lot of ways realistic. Way better than the random jagged circles with a hexagon jutting out of it people make. I like the diamond shaped carpet, and that little alcove at the back. Not sure what it is, but it's cool. I think that the walls could be good, but are a little over detailed. I like plants in the wall, but to the extent it looks like they're growing from the outside - unless I know it's some magic tree fairy house or something. So, that's my opinion. - Kiwi |

Thanks <3 I'll make some adjustments. I do agree with the fact that the wall toppings look ****. I rushed them a bit because I was so eager to get it done.

I don't like it. Too UN-style, looks bad. Sorry. |

It's also a great way to practise leveling in my oppinion because you get known to tiles way better and you do figure out how to do different styles. It's always good to know different styles as it could help you with other servers aswell which are using a way different style. |

Well I don't like that style. It looks really messy and definitely isn't appealing to look at. Perhaps tone down the walls and the roof/walls and make them less complicated... Like just a long flat roof and a neat design on the walls (not so chaotic) would be suffice. |

His style is fine, needs some work, but hey he is not a level artist. Good job Aaron.

Thanks lew <3 Made an update to the outside level thing. Still looks ****, but it's better than the previous one. I'm just wondering how the heel I'm going to detail the ground without ****ing the level up. |

Maybe you shouldnīt use the same walls all the time. Keep the style but change them a little bit

Updated it a little bit. I'm just kind of playing around with that style since I like it a lot. -------------- Another update, finished the water and detailed the ground a little bit more. Any ideas what I could do with all this extra grass?
