Welcome to York Town, the newest area in the world of Graal Classic. Here you'll find a quiet coastal town that has been forced into an unfortunate battle against invading forces. One of the more malevolent foes--the Pyrats--can be seen pushing their assault on the town as we speak. Even with it being under constant attack however, York Town still manages to provide a lot of unique features for its visitors, for example:

• Daily Quest System
  
  Aid from visiting heroes is always welcomed at York Town, especially now that the Pyrats have surfaced. Talk to Jagain who will provide tasks and tell you how you can be of use to the town. These quests can be done once a day, and you may be seeing a lot more of them coming up in the future.
  
  
  
• Shared Mounts
  
  Being on the coast, York Town has a lot of different comings-and-goings from the sea. One of these visitors is the giant turtle, who just-so-happens to fit two players on their backs. Once you've bought one of these big guys you'll be able to invite other players to join you. Ride off together into the sunset, if you're into that kind of thing.
  
  
  
• Horce Racing
  
  In addition to their bigger mounts, York Town specializes in horse racing events. This event can be set off by a member of staff and players are to complete the course as fast as possible. There are many different routes you can take, but some will lead you to a dead end. The fastest player to reach the finish line will be rewarded with a gralat prize each time.
  
  
  
• New Guild Tower
  
  Every good town needs its own guild tower, and York Town is no exception. This tower is a lot different from all of the current places you can take over though, and when you visit you'll see exactly how different. However, even with the new features the tower still has that familiar gameplay to go with it, and shouldn't be too foreign for all of those tower fanatics out there.
  
  
  
• And of course.. Shops
  
  If you've been dragging your screen lately, you'll have noticed that York Town has a few different stalls that sell various items. A lot of new hats are on sale, and one stall includes a Phoenix transform.

Not bad. Glad to see new content being put out. The daily quest system seems awesome(easy 500 gralats a day!). I hope there will be more daily quests across the map.

The new fort is certainly different but seems fun. Glad its there because with 6 forts taking and holding one was incredibly difficult. Had 8 people yesterday and couldn't hold mod more than 6 mins lol.

horse racing is really glitchy but still fun.

haven't tried the 2 person mounts, I'm going to have to farm for a while to try it.  

Damn, well done. It's been quite a while since something of this much effort has been injected into the classic gameplay. I'll definately be heading on soon to check this out.  

Its great! I love it! But two things. The mount should DEFINETLY be lowered to at least 25k? 50k is quite a lot to ask for... And also I cant complete the quest? I talked to the guy and go the 5 Eyepatches but nothing happened and now he just has a question mark over his head? Any help? But great job!

tap him/click him then click finish and you'll collect 500 gralats. You will have to wait another 24 hours after that for another quest.

In most MMO's a "!" exclamation points represents an available quest and a "?" question mark represents a finished one ready to be turned in.

Edit: just went around and looked for a bit. This is a nice update, even if it is long overdue. It adds a fairly large area. I like the whole "beach, bayside, market town" feel since there is no other town like it. It has it's own unique atmosphere. The new fort is cool too, its like a little militia outpost. It's probably the most creative "tower" by design. I got that old sense of discovery and exploration as when I first started playing. Everything about this update is great


The only thing that doesn't seem right is the outside cave entrance tiles, looks a bit sloppy.  

THIS IS AMAZING! Loving the new tower and all the new features. With that guy who does the quest, do you get to do all the quests or will you miss out on some if you dont go there for a day  

First of all I'd like to Thank You Azrael for finally pushing that map update through. I tried for so long but it got stuck at stefan somehow.

And I think the new town got great. Still a bit buggy (for example swords are allowed inside, and the cave/outside-warp-tiles are weird(at summer home)) But thats all gonna change (I hope) and I am personally very happy that we finally have a new town with a quest system and a double-ride.

The tower looks great from the outside, though the inside is a bit unlogical (Wooden tower=Outside; Earth walls and green gras = inside) Its new and its fun to walk around there. I gonna check out the guild-only-tent soon, I just have to let my connections play^^ But I am sure it looks great
The only thing not that great about the tower is the thing that it is so far away. You may ride to trainstation or unstuck and walk there. But after you passed 2000hours-Zone you have to walk a really long way to the tower. I hope they gonna do something about that^^(like adding tracks)

I personally like the pyrates. It's fun to fight em, like baddies, and to collect their stuff. Maybe expand their island a bit or remove a few of them cause sometimes 5 were chasing me at once. And put something in the tent to collect or for a quest. Now its just there and nothing important inside (maybe I just didnt see it^^)

But all in all it's a great new feature. It will make alot of players happy....for a while. Maybe add a spar (maybe even an outside spar, if possible). All are satisified. Towertakers, Pkers, Baddy-Killers but not the spar guys. Do something for them too^^

And one more thing. Only because you added a new Town dont think you can be lazy the rest of the year ;) Stay as passionate as you are right now and Graal wont lose many players and it will be the best App, which iTunes has ever seen.

Oh and by the way.... How about hiring some more active LAT's^^ I know some very gifted are trying really hard to catch your attention^^

Please have the players on the FB version welcome aswell rather than the old "Admin zone" warps. Yet I can´t say anything about it :/  

Thanks for the compliments folks. I've been working my tail off on this for some time now, but there are a lot of other people that I have privately thanked for lending a major hand in this project.

Pking in buildings has been fixed.

I will see if I can get someone to look at the Admin warp zones on Facebook as soon as possible.  

After checking this on my iPod I thought it was really funny. The little quest was funny aswell even though I took the items from the other players baddies but while that I realized that you will get warped to the towers "death spawn" after dying in that tent (the one below the missions starter point). Maybe that can get fixed.

In all I really like it and hope to see more improvements and maybe a new hours zone. After the new "horses" are so expensive and you seem to like high numbers there could be finally a 10k hours zone

I hope that further mini quests will be great aswell and I cant wait for them Ill also update my RPS Guide soon with the new RPS guy (or at least spam Rufus)
