UCSB
Recently I was admitted into the University of California Santa Barbara as an Economics and Accounting Major because Computer Science was to competitive ![]() I was wondering if anyone here got admitted or was planning on attending. Or any alumnis know much about this school? I also don't know much about my major. It was a last minute change. So if anyone majored in Economics and Accounting share some knowledge! Besides that, I'm 90% sure I wanna go there. |

Santa Barbara is a pretty good school from what I've heard. Its ranked #37 in national universities. That's the top 50 so its pretty good. My mom's friend has a daughter who goes there. Congrats on getting accepted there. |

Santa Barbara University is a very frat-like school. They party a *** ton and get wasted on alcohol and drugs and stuff. This doesn't generalize the whole environment of Santa Barbara but should be a good chunk of it due to its rep as a frat school. Otherwise, Santa Barbara is a good college and VERY strong in sciences (I think)
