I as a person who never did the quest am a little excited, but the only reason I like the gun is because the animation. So I do agree with you it's kind of messed up they did it limited edition and then now they're just selling it for everyone which is ridiculous. They should've like made a whole new gun and basically reskinned the gun for anyone that already has them and make them gold with more damage and the ones who buy them now would just be regular color with less damage.

Guess it's too late now

This ^^^^ frikin this... give the people who did the original one a gold version please... this was like a freaking prized possession of mine and a remnant of the past.

That's just messed up. This was a limited time gun? I don't feel it should be sold. It's just a slap in the face to the players who took time to get it. C'mon staff reconsider. Either make a different gun or make the limited gun have a unique skin (similar to Era with Gold/Pink M4, Gold AKM, etc..).  

I dont think it was a limited time gun. It was given out in a quest, and the quest got removed eventually, maybe due to map updates etc. So they decided just to sell it. Think of it this way, you got the gun for cheaper. So did I...

But they never said the guns were limited time.
Plus its too late now, dont you think. Its been there now for weeks/months.
How could they know who did the original quest, to give them a golden version? Just move on.

i think it should be limited edition if it was gone for a year and a half

It was gone because of the map update, wasn't intended to be unobtainable but from what I know nobody bothered to fix it.

Sucks if you for some reason treasured it as a "rare" item though

It's not even that it should be limited time, it's that I worked for it and did the quest and boss and they didn't is what annoys me.

Put the quest back in the game? Fine with me. Just putting it up for sale in a random gun shop, not ok
