My friend (Bobby, also goes as iFrost) and I thought of this a LONG time ago, and I recently thought about posting it. He had a idea for a pet that used the same template as the water pet, swamp pet, lava pet, etc, but it was golden and had the same properties as a lantern. This means that when you morph into the pet, you can go through places such as the one to SnowTown and Deadwood. Anyone think this is a good idea?  

That would be pretty cool. However, there would have to be a feature to disable the lighting from the pet in certain areas in order to avoid the massive mobs of lantern lights or they could make the pet have a dimmer lighting.  

a lantern is cheaper that a recolor of a pet that a lot of players already have..... but i see were you are coming from.

i think we should have a horse that lights up dark areas so we can keep riding.  

Thats a really good idea! It would probably be expensive though, as its a pet and an object that allows you to enter towns  

They should sell a body that lights up so that way we could just keep walking.  

A simpler way for people who have the lantern, a feature needs to be added such as "/lantern" or ":lantern" because sometimes your profile/inventory doesn't want to load :cry

That's a really simple script haha. If I worked for iClassic I bet you I could have this working in 30 mins max :o

but its iclassic it wont happen :/  

I don't care how much it costs. I only care on what the heck am i buying.
And this would be pretty cool so i'd buy it if the pet idea gets accepted

I even already have it done with the pet showing different emotes clientside while taping him :o Would just need to add the lantern :o  

Good idea I hate selecting the lantern, but this should be in future improvements.
