I'm getting a PS4 for Christmas and I don't know if I should get a PS4 Pro or not. I originally planned on just getting a PS4 because I don't have a 4k TV and probably won't be getting one within the next year. However, I don't actually know when I'll end up getting one and it could end up being 6 months from now, or 1-2 years. I guess I want to know if it's worth paying that much more for a PS4 Pro. I don't already own a PS4 so it's not like I'd be wasting money on an upgrade. I do already have an XB1 that I'll still play most of my games on. The PS4 will be mostly for single-player games & PS4 exclusives. Also if you have it, how much better do games actually look/perform on the PS4 Pro if you have a 4k TV? I've never seen the difference with 4k in video games so I have no clue if it's really better or not.  

Not worth it in my opinion.
It's not like graphics will make a game fun to play plus the graphics for games on the ps4 are amazing already  

Na. Get regular PS4 till 4K get a bit cheaper and we all one in our house

Like you I was wondering to get Slim or Pro. Honestly, the advantages of the Pro is not enough for me to spend an extra $100. Also don't have a 4K TV so I'm not even going to get what the Pro is aiming for. Slim is great, quiet, and the games still look pretty. Also the main problem with Pro I see people complaining about rn is generally figuring if and how the game is supported for the Pro.

Thanks. Doesn't take me much convincing to stick with a PS4 instead of the Pro. I just heard a few people sayingto get the Pro even though I hadn't even considered that before.  

Put the $100 towards a better graphics card on your PC?

From the day they announced the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One Ass I never understood what the actual upgrade was for both of them.

Just sounds like some subtle hardware changes and smaller size for like $100+.

Doesn't sound worth it at all.

I would hold off on the heavy and beyond two souls. I'm sure there will be a sell on PlayStation for it. Christmas week

And shift the pro one comes with a 1tb hard drive which is very much needed

So I was thinking it might be worth the price for it. Because I have the 500 gb and I can only hold 4 big games on it.

I been looking around for a 2 tb

Thamks. I actually ordered it already but removed heavy rain/B2S because I was going to use the $25 amazon gift card on it, but if I can get it on sale, that's even better. I also don't plan on getting big games for it except for their exclusives which will be a one-playthrough and done game. I have 500 GB XB1 and I struggle for space, but I have games lile BF1, WD2, GTA 5, and more that I want to play consistently.

Well dang. Although I'm not buying a PSN pass so I don't know if you'd need that to get that discount. I also probably won't get it until after Christmas since I ordered it today and chose free shipping.  

@Santa Just buy a new HDD. It's so easy and cheaper replacing the PS4 hard drive. Doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes. I got a 500 GB Slim PS4 and upgraded the HDD to 1.5TB.
