Sword question
Got a sword here, which isn't getting accepted. The response in return is "no flashing or color changing graphics" It's at 120 milliseconds per frame right now... is there a minimum requirement? |

It got cleared... but after multiple rejections and, in the end, help from Milo. Interestingly, there are many swords still available in game that have much faster animations.

In most cases, they're default files and we can't remove them. |

Generally for swords transitions won't matter ( in your case, you will almost never see more than one of the frames in a given attack) but when it comes to changing colors in shields for example you will want to transition into the new color in a way that makes it appear smooth. |

So shouldn't it be a good thing to have flashing colors so that you can actually see the different colors in the slashing gani

I always wondered as well. I've gone as fast as 50ms (a blinking gif head) and not had a problem. Is there a max file size for animations? I'm starting to see more complex gifs and wonder what the upper limit is? Time for another episode of seizure causing robots Mars bar and Mattel's "chocobot happy fun hour" I hope they finally get Col. Kataffy |
