Quitting COD for BF1. It looks like the same old COD, just in a new setting. Also, is it just me or do the COD gfx look worse in the newer games than they do in the older games? Maybe it's because they're trying to be more cartoon-looking I guess. I don't know why I constantly hear COD is trying to get into competitive gaming, but they keep making their games more arcade-like with each game.

The multiplayer and zombies look absolutely terrible.

Advanced Warfare was a interesting experiment with the new mechanics but ended up sucking major horse ****.

Black Ops 3 fixed some of the issues in Advanced Warfare but is still nothing worth writing home about. Zombies was pretty fun, alot better than AW Zombies.

And now this **** looks like absolute visual herpes.

If this garbage wasn't bundled with Modern Warfare Remastered I swear nobody would ****ing buy this trash.

Same. Ever since Advanced Warfare, every iteration of COD has been futuristic with non-boots on the ground gameplay. AW took it to the extreme while BO3 toned it a bit down. From what I heard, IW feels exactly like BO3. Infinity Ward really lost it's touch ever since most of the original team left during MW2. I'm hyped for BF1..Just not Sihari Desert please.

AW sucked as the maps were way too chaotic. They were small and barely had any flow for the movement system. BO3 was a step forward but got boring due to the similar movement system found in AW. I love how IW is literally a reskin of BO3 multiplayer. Same movement system, same specialist system..*** the HUD even looks the same lol. Not to mention supply drops and weapon variants are returning. Have you seen the BS they did? Each weapon have 4 tiers..and getting to the high tiers unlock special bonuses for the weapon. For example, the NV4 assault rifle epic tier has 2 special perks which are dumb: 10% dmg increase to crotch shot and headshots do more damage. How to get it? Gotta craft it. What is this really? What the hell is COD becoming..

Lmao everyone jumping on the battlefield 1 bandwagon

I see IW will likely suck, but its kinda sad to see battlefield 1 turn into a bunch of cod noobs saying: "Omg battlefield is so hard to play", well, at least that is what a few have said to me.

See it all the time on the PC beta. Since it has chat, you see a load of peeps coming in from COD saying BF1 is stupid and hard. Some even said it shouldn't have vehicles lol.

BF1 isn't harder than COD. It's just slower-paced and requires more strategy and teamwork. In fact, I find it harder on COD to avoid dying because you inevitably die every 10 seconds.

To each their own. Some peeps enjoy COD, others BF, and others CS. Doesn't make them plebs. If you enjoy CS, then by all means enjoy it. COD/BF is personally more fun.
