Hillary Clinton: Indictment Edition
Right away: do you think she should have been recommended/should be indicted? Why? Also, do you honestly think your belief is based on the facts, rather than your political biases for/against Hillary Clinton? After watching the Comey testimony for a while now, I thought this thread would be a good idea. I find it funmy that every Republican is questioning Comey's choices, while every Democrat is praising him for doing his job. It's entertaining. I don't think she should have been indicted based on the information I've been seen. I think Comey worded it best when he said if an FBI agent did exactly what Hillary Clinton did, and was careless with classified information, that they would have faced repercussions within their job, but would not have been criminally charged. I'm just really sick of the opinions being divided 50/50 on this issue based on political views. The law is generally straightforward, as are the facts of the case. I, nor do most of the people who comment on the case know all the facts, but we are provided with enough to understand what happened, and what the law says. I can only imagine if she had been recommended for indictment, all the Republicans would be praising Comey right now for doing his job, while all the Democrats would be questioning his political motives. |

Absolutely, and if she didn't then she wouldn't have lied so generously through her entire account of what she claims happened. I'm watching Comey take questions on Capitol Hill right now, and he said he came to his decision based on finding no "criminal negligence or intent." Apparently, he acknowledges that what she did was illegal yet she didn't intend to do it. Ignorance of the law has never given anyone amnesty. It seems as if he thinks it works this way: Negligent: You are going 60mph in a 40mph speed zone, but your claim is that you were in a rush to work. Not negligent: You are going 60mph in a 40mph speed zone, but your claim is that you didn't know it was wrong. |

She mishandled classified information. Her Top Secret security clearance ought to be revoked thus making her ineligible to run as President of the United States. Do that in my line of work and you'd be looking at being charged + disciplinary action. |

The fact that Hillary thinks she can win this election by pulling the woman card over and over again is appalling let alone the fact that she's practically a criminal.

when you're the wife of a former president you can pretty much act like you're a strong independent woman who dont need no patriarchal system to keep her down
