life lost
i feel so tired lately. my eyes look like someone who's been doing drugs. i even stopped running, stopped reading books, lost all the fun or motives in game, i just watch animes like a psychopath. i sleep at 5pm in the afternoon. my parents come home at night, they won't go to bed til 1am, so i can't too cuz they are too loud. but i am not only feeling tired, i also feel hopeless. but why?? technically i should be happy and super motivated. i only take like 4 classes a day. i got accepted into colleges. parents business is running fine. why do i feel tired and hopeless? what was even my motivation? i am so confused after all. what the hells life and why do i look at graalians every 30 minute? i think i need to go back to elementary school and learn how to use my free time properly.. |

Anti-depressants only affect you badly if you're mis-diagnosed with depression. Like for me Anti-depressants didn't work for me because I have bipolar/mood disorder. Thus, they affected me in ways like making my depression worse. Also, some meds simply don't work like others. Some might actually make you want to kill your family, but most won't. So anti-depressants could work for him, or they might not. Depends on what kind he gets, or of he's even diagnosed with depression. |

i don't exactly identify it as a depression. it's more of a combination of laziness + tiredness. it's more like im living a too comfy life that turned to super lazy life idk. might force myself to workout and read books tomorrow. i thought over it carefully. I think the depression or whatever i am facing became obvious when I reached 10k wins on graal and there's nothing else to do or that particularly interests me. |

First of all, you need to talk to your parents about either making less noise or sleeping earlier, if possible. If that doesn't work, take matters into your own hands and get sleeping headphones + an eye mask. You sound like someone who lacks inspiration and/or passion. My advice would be to try to pick something up, something that'll get you into contact with people in a fun atmosphere. Usually i get depressed if I haven't done anything around people in awhile(not to say we are the same or it will work for you, but it's something you could try). Maybe try writing. I find that making a character feel the same emotions as me makes me understand them better, and perhaps how to move past them. Stuff to try, hope you feel better Zetectic |

I suggest setting up an appointment with a counselor. Seeing one has really helped me, so I would suggest the same for anyone who is going through a tough time in their life. They'll help you understand what's happening, help you work through it, and be able to tell if it's actually depression or something else.

I have some of the same feeling whenever I'm low on iron or vitamin D. You might want to go see a doctor and take a blood test. You could also be depressed, but I also have signs of depression whenever I lack vitamins or iron. I was struggling with getting up to my two classes per week, and I pretty much stopped doing anything but sleep and watch netflix. When I started taking iron again it got way easier to get out of bed and go to classes. Best of luck! |
