on wiiU you can homebrew melee on it and play. Otherwise don't bother with VC, be a champ and go old school gamecube and a CRT like the cool kids. Also you avoid those pesky entry fees if you bring a set up to tournaments. MAKE SURE for the love of god if your playing melee it is on a CRT TV. Not an HDTV. HDTV with composite connection (the red yellow white cords) give an insane amount of input lag since thats not HD and the HDTV processes that crap into HD. Buy a CRT, go to local TV store, ask if they have CRTs they cost less than 10$ and most of the time free. I got a 18 inch CRT for free. if you have 3ds smash your fine as long as you have a remote for wiiU. Theres a remote i used for smash that is legal and transfers your 3ds strats over to wiiU very nicely. http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Pro-Elite.../dp/B00HNWZE18 it has wireless and wired so its tournament legal and i won tournaments with it in my 3ds days. It feels like a 3ds with the triggers and the button length is the same distance as 3ds. Along with that your pull on the joystick is the same as a 3ds circle pad. My B button wore down on it after 6 months because duck hunt, replaced the spring in it. I like it. |
