Have any of you heard of the Rune Factory series? Well, I didn't, but recently discovered it, gave it a try, and fell in love with it. I recommend you to skip the first Rune Factory game because people say that it's very frustrating and hard. None of the titles connects besides 1 through RF Frontier, so skipping to RF4 is okay. The game is really fun.

What you basically do in Rune Factory 4 (this is based on the 2 hours I've read and played so far) do quests adjured by the towns people, play through this story of you trying to regain your memory, farm, get married, have kids, collect outfits and items, discover dungeons and just have fun in your town lol. It is similar to Animal Crossing but with a story and no multiplayer. Each member of your town has their own unique animated cutscene, which I thought was pretty cool.

Anyways, give this game a chance. It's really fun to play and I'm sure you'll love it. Combat is pretty simple. It's not a turn-based RPG, it's hack/slash.
