Amazon's new "Lumberyard" game Engine

Has anyone tried out this engine yet? It looks really promising. The graphics potential seems to rival the Unreal Engine 4 and Cryengine, and it also seems to offer better built-in support for multiplayer.

I've been making games in Unity, does anyone feel it's worth the switch?

it uses a lot of Cryengine's technology in terms of graphics rendering, but it also uses technology from AWS, Twitch, etc for networking support.
