Using gani items/emoticon commands during pk and spar
I'm curious to what people think of this. Do you find it disrespectful when your opponent spams things such as :lol, :rofl, or :asleep during spar, or that along with gani items when pk'ing or defending a tower? Or do you feel that it's a valid strategy using a taunt to get people to rush you? Or both, for that matter?

There aren't a lot of people who do this while pking, and I think it's annoying when people do it, but it does seem to work. There are quite a few pkers I'd consider good who use gani items while pking, as well as people who think they're too good and spam :lol's and :asleep's.

I see No1 doing that as well, same thing though. Doesn't make him any better, only worse imo. Only person who I think can do it effective is Tom_The_Turkey, he and his egg emoticon are pretty hard to stop. Plus he's got a good troll game. I use the splash boots, and I often get better against certain players when I do, since they can make it harder to tell where my character is facing. The umbrella is more just for fun then anything else, aesthetic effect. Overall opinion: Using it as a taunt only works against people who can't stand to not feel like their good, is very ineffective against players who don't care all that much. |

I agree, both of those people use the commands to try and make it seem like they're better than others, probably to try and cover their own frustrations. I think using an innocent or playful gani item to pretend you aren't paying attention or to try to trick them into rushing could have its uses, but it could also come off as cocky.
