Every time I log on players keep disappearing, So I can't interact with anyone. The game tells me to do this to speed the game up yet the game runs perfectly normal.  

Compare it to last year, less laggy at least. Just for Christmas and any big events I'm guessing.

Strange, Because a week ago the game was showing all of the players.

Basically the large number of players online (because of Christmas) is straining the server, and the automatic solution is lowering the player load distance to 0, which the devs can't really do anything about  

Oh okay, a Thanks for answering. It sucks how there isn't a option to disable this.

Yeah it was, until the server got out of hand and this is probably the most the devs can do without making any changes to the server itself in order to prevent lag while maintaining the playerbase.  

"Graal classic, mmo".
