Spark of Destiny™:Thy Kingdom Come
SpireBloom Studio Name: Spark of Destiny™: Thy Kingdom Come Genre: 2D RPG Release: Estimated Q4 2016 Site:http://www.spirebloomstudio.com Facebook:http://www.facebook.com/spirebloom Twitter:http://twitter.com/SpireBloom Tumblr:http://spirebloom.tumblr.com/ Google+:http://plus.google.com/u/0/b/1139276...sts?gmbpt=true Hello all Graalians and old pals. I figured since this is where I and Decus started, this was a good place to announce we're developing our first standalone RPG. We expect it will take about a year and a half to completely finish it, but because it's a guess it could be more or less still. Some of this is vague, and it will be updated as things progress, but here it is. SpireBloom Studio™ is a new indie video game studio working on it's first project: Spark of Destiny™: Thy Kingdom Come! Spark of Destiny™ is an RPG series set in the world of Aiseria. The first installment, Thy Kingdom Come™ is a 2D MMORPG in a top down perspective with bright, colorful graphics and true action, fast paced combat. The story revolves around 6 main characters and multiple side characters, as you traverse the world where your choices will set off a chain of events effecting everything around you. While our expected release date is unknown, we are stamping Q4 2016 as the goal. Right now Spark of Destiny™: Thy Kingdom Come is in early development, but we like to let anyone view our progression and give constructive feedback when appropriate. We plan on releasing the game on: PC/Mac Android (Google Play/Kindle) iOS (App Store) Steam ... and possibly consoles if time and funds allow. More to come! Check our Facebook page, like it, and follow us! We've started posting some content here and there (mostly concepts still) but should be pumping out quite a bit this month and next!

Since we've progressed enough along with the story so far, we've finally come up with a name for the game: Spark of Destiny™: Thy Kingdom Come This is intent to use for our game as well as a book, and any other sources of media or products we output based on this series. We also have our world map uploaded on our Facebook page, linked below in my signature! Check it out, and click like to follow us for more news and info.

Figured I'd go ahead and copy the image here. There are still some details to work out in the drawings, and it's just a quick rough concept so some things could be better, but it gives an idea of the style we're going for in art, and we should be showing off the actual 2D graphics some time this month! https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/12295375_535322343290232_8450942925708167798_n.png?oh=106be8c107bc1efa8a46495d6c38bf53&oe=56F980B1 (Unsupported image host) I'm also editing the OP a bit to match what has changed (mostly small things) as we move forward in development. |

Updated OP. We've decided to do what we wanted to originally do and make our first installment an MMORPG in 2D! Check out our social links and website above in the OP! Follow us. Remember, we were once Graal server dudes too, and it seemed like a lot of you guys liked what we were bringing; there will be that and more in this game! |

Hi, Just stopping by to give a brief update. Development is still in progress. Still working on sprite sheets for the first race and plan to have the base sets wrapped up in the next few months. We plan to have 6 races with 12 weapon types and most of the same ideas as our previous project, Elysium. Once i finish the first race completely the rest will be much quicker to make. I know its hard to really care when there is 0 graphics and screenshots showing off our progress, but those of you who followed us on Elysium, expect a much more polished version. Only the select few have seen our progress and we appreciate your feedback! I've also developed the basics of the tilesets as well. Cliff, grass, water, and farm hut houses (stone with hattop roofs). Things are moving along at a steady pace, which may seem quite slow, but we still plan to release in-game footage by Q3 - 2016 or sooner. Even if it is a character running around with incomplete levels. I'm soloing all the graphics so the work has been immense but very rewarding. |
