Report of York Tower
This is a very late report on the events of what happened to York Fort provided by G.R.A.D.D. The reason for such a long winded report was due to a required inquiry held by the B.o.S.S. of the how it was properly responded to by first response and why there was a failure to act on it and the sudden lost of Snow Tower after such report and inquiry were completed further delaying release of what was found. On July 17 of 2015, (18th for some players however the BoSS and GRADD would like the event to be dated on said date)the island of York Fort succumbed to massive erosion of the York Sea. The caves located underneath the island served as the main factor to it's collapse. The caves were dug as a way for guilds to sneak attack the defenders, however they dug away too much causing the insides of the island to supported by struts and leaving parts of the rock to remain. The cave was filled with highly explosive gunpowder to deter the usage of entry however they didn't play a role in the islands demise. After years of erosion the walls that separated the caves to the sea, gave through, with heavy amount of water rushing through, the tunnels filled rapidly, washing away the supports that held the island together and with the lost of the majority of the struts inside, the island began to collapse at it's edges. Players still within the fort were warped out for their own safety. The island then collapsed entirely sinking inwards in a manner similar to a drain or a whirlpool effect. Many players believed it was the guild Maphasy who destroyed the island or an administrator destroyed it to prevent the said guild from towering/"homing"there although this is not confirmed as the actual causes. There is also the possibility of a pyrat attack however reports clearly state there were no explosions heard from the island itself. The first response was lacking entirely, the day before York Fire Department, was in an influx of power, and was left out of action. This lead to a combined effort from both the NGFD and the GFD to rush across to ensure safety amongst the refugees who were warped and assess the damage. The lack of such response was appalling to the face of the service members who failed to actively ready their stations when the time was needed. As for the loss of life, one unnamed reformed pyrat, known for selling bombs and arrows within the tent was reported missing, and most likely presumed deceased. His body has yet to be recovered. These events may have caused the "International Talk like a Pirate Day" although this is open for debate. As of now, the current matter is the cause of Snow Tower's disappearance which is currently being looked into. |

I really liked york I'm pretty sure it was those nasty pyrats who lit the explosive barrels which caused the caves collapse after a huge explosion
