Windows 10 Memory leak + First Build
I can't even use my laptop after last week, windows 10 finally took up all my ram. At first it was at 70%-80% now it's 94%-100% ram and disc usage. I tried to fix it, but it's too slow to download anything, I have no restore points, it just freezes a lot, and is super slow... slower than my older laptop... Anyways I upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10 for free, but you can't go back to windows 8 after 30 days... When I check task manager it shows that the "system" is taking up nearly everything with 3.64GB + other processes make 2gb+, and I only have 6gb on that laptop. Probably only 5gb+ usable tho. A lot of people say it's a memory leak, due to faulty drivers. I've tried fixing a ton of stuff, I've tried so many methods, but it's just too slow to download anything to fix it. Anyways, I was tired, so I bought this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gpMzVn My first pc build. I bought windows 10 though... and I'm worried that it will have the same problem. I hope not. I think it's funny how microsoft pretty much destroyed my laptop. They probably have something in their terms and conditions saying, "we are not responsible" when upgrading to windows 10. Will it have any issues? Has anyone here bought a clean installation of windows 10, and had any issues with memory? If I run into some issues, then I will just add more ram, and see where that takes me. Thanks for any replies. |
