The problem is most of the Mobile Community doesn't even know what Graal PC is, and if they do they don't know what or how to play it because it's fairly different from the device servers. Also I just started seriously playing UN about a month or two ago and have already made new friends on there as well as becoming a part of that community. Yes being new on the PC servers is discouraging, but like any other game you eventually become comfortable.

I'm certain that the issue is due to a lack of exposure. After working on Minecraft development for numerous years, one will realize how to effectively present your server to the public. This is through YouTubers! YouTubers is the key that helped me populate a server I helped create which was just one of the 30 million servers out there, into a server that constantly fosters 30,000 players on at all time. Do you think that YouTubers just go on Minecraft and make videos of servers for free? Well you're absolutely wrong, they might ask for $1,000-$5,000 per video depending on their popularity. YouTubers are pretty greedy since they get ad revenues on top of that as well. If Graal would be willing to pay this amount I do have connections with some of the most popular YouTubers who would be willing to shoot video of Graal for the right price. I know for a fact that if they went through with this Graal would have hundreds-thousands of new players. |

I can agree that from what I've seen over the years, the community is toxic for most every server. The only one I haven't seen to be toxic is iZone. I could be wrong on that, but I've seen a lot of newbies get help and the amount of trash talking was fairly low.

there's dozens of reasons why but the topmost reason is crystal clear and it's because this game's management has absolutely no idea what they're doing from an administrative and marketing perspective they are actually idiots and have never realized the potential to grow and monetize the game Graal could have been as successful as Minecraft if handled properly, I really don't doubt this at all it's easy to criticize, but after 16 years and never seeing a good marketing campaign, a Facebook ad, never seeing paid developers, never seeing them actually online and monitoring their game, it becomes quite obvious I draw the comparison between Minecraft and Graal because of the similarities and benefits it brings the developers of both - Graal has the leisure of never actually needing to develop content, just like Minecraft, and the community can and will push the game to really interesting levels if the management allows it when Era was released, alarms should have immediately went off in the brains of game management pf "wow, Graal, as a game engine, is really powerful and cool -through the level editor and GScript, people can actually create just about anything they want" but no, they are idiots and allowed their game to fizzle out iClassic is a core map that has existed for more years than many of you have been alive, they put in very little effort and depend entirely on the community at this point, I'm pretty convinced that they are afraid of money and success |

![]() http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...6&postcount=62 The PC community sucks because it's filled with bitter old dudes. The major reason why players don't jump to the PC client is because there's no server worth making the jump and the accessibility from having a game in your phone. I also don't think Graal is the type of game that would attract a real PC gamer(the good ones) |
