A Reoccuring Issue in the Community

What could be a better way to start off my first thread than taking shots at the community? One thing that I have noticed in the past three years of playing Graal, is the fact that people are never satisfied, and one comment that they keep bringing up is the fact that "Graal is becoming more about the money than the people."

One thing that bothers me is that most of the time, the people who are making these remarks are the same people that are too lazy to do Pyrat Quest everyday. Just think about it, if you were to do Pyrat Quest everyday in between Onnet Shop being upgraded or a new event like Nexus, Revolution, etc. opening, then you would have a lot of money in your pockets. This is not the case though. Most people sit around not taking advantage of this easy way to get 1,000 free gralats every 24 hours.

Another thing that people do not take advantage of is the fact that you have many other opportunities to earn money other than buying packs. Some of these include: looting, farming, and killing baddies. We can start with the first one listed, looting. Looting takes no time at all, and if you spend 1 hour looting and use the NPCs who buy loot to your advantage, you can easily gain 3-5K in gralats. Now lets talk farming. Yes, it takes a lot of patience to farm, but if you are wise, you could always join a farming guild (like mine) or use sites like Swamptown, the Fan, and the hidden area in the Battle Arena to mass spam bombs to gain heft amounts. Finally, killing baddies gains money too. Its not as efficient, but the option is still there.

I will admit, I have spent a lot of money on the game buying packs, but that is because I can, and I feel that the developers earned it, since they DO NOT make you pay anything to play. I will also admit that the hats have become less intriguing and have fallen short of the standards, but nevertheless worth the small amount we are paying.

I've never spent on gralat packs. Ever.
I give back by helping the community where possible.
Used to run tours of graal for new players... ran 'house of the month' and gave away gralats to the winner for a full year... giving out christmas gifts the last couple years to people who win mini events at my house.

And I pyrat, catch bugs, loot, and all the rest. It's not for everyone, though! Takes time, patience, and skill to do most of those!

I agree that people always want the easy way out even though they have given them guides and multiple ways to do things.

One thing that people probably don't notice is marketing. If they are able to get easy gralats everyday then prices will increase. In my opinion the ways that we are able to gain gralats is enough for the prices that they sell items.

However I believe they just want more content. They just add in money so that there is a reward. Though the way they push content is really awesome in which they have quality like what most graal classic player say. Though most people wish that things never end so they make jobs that is repeatable like Pyrat Quest.

Now that I think about it...they should somehow tie together both the Pyrat Quest and Cave Quest together...

idk why, but some ppl just hate gaining baddies kill.
Personally old style farming in swamp is one of the quickest way to earn gralats.

Classic is like the red-headed step-child of the servers because it doesn't sell weapons for 200k+ gralats and the like. It gets a lot of slack for not bringing in the sort of money Era does since we care a lot about being fair and not screwing players over.

you can make emitters like UN and sell it at 200k.

If a single pack wasn't bought, then the developers would have no way of being funded, and the game that we know and love would probably collapse. They would probably most likely move us to another server or take overflow funds from another server, like era.

Graal is the only game I feel happy about when I do In-App Purchases. It's a free-to-play with no adds, all content included. Over time, I've probably dropped $30 but I don't mind. Its kinda like a thank-you donation in which I get rewarded for.
