My Custom- Rejected!

Kk so..
When I first submitted this, it did not accept the body. For the reason: Do not resubmit. I DID not submit it 100 times. Just once! And then it finally got accepted. After 3 days, it refunded my upload because the system found out that there was something wrong with it. Wut. Is this body in animes and/or mangas or books of some sort?

And then I edited the body. Submitted it. System: "Nope lol Copyright Infringement!" Well, yeah, the edited body was Kawaii Sister's. Not sure if it was from a source of some sort.

Classic was the reason I stopped making graphics or rather bodies in general. I would spend hours on them, upload, and then they would be rejected. Or an even worse example is I would have the body for several months and then it would suddenly be refunded by a staff member. If it was even a little close to copyright it would be rejected. I don't think it was the system that found something wrong with your body, but a staff member themselves. Unless that has changed over the course of time. I would give it up on the body. If you managed to upload it some other staff might just snatch it from your inventory and only refund half of what you paid for it.

There is something definitely wrong with the second picture you posted. See that little "Check Transparency" box? There's no way it would be able to set the transparency on that second image. The background is not one smooth color like the first. Go ahead and try to fill the background with the paint bucket and you'll see what I mean.

P.S. I hope you're not stealing that body and that the artist actually gave approval to upload it.

Graal is a game built around custom content. The fact that talented people are refusing to create custom content on Classic is a pretty big blow to that foundational aspect of Graal. At the very least, staff need to work with the players and explain WHY their graphics are not allowed on the server and HOW they can fix it instead of just checkering some arbitrary reason with little to no meaning. It has to be understood that simply refunding the 20,000 gralats is not enough to be a true refund as the biggest investment that went into the graphics being removed or denied was the time and work the makers put into them.

I have no doubt that Graal has been subject to copyright lawsuits before, even though I haven't seen the direct evidence. In this instance you're creating a derivative work of what's available at the Kawaii Sister's website. The right to distribute a derivative work based on an original work is under the precipice of copyright law. You would need to provide explicit evidence of permission to create and distribute a derivative work in order for it to be cleared.

If you can make the argument that rejections of custom graphics are decreasing Graal's potential revenue, then you have a completely valid argument to suggest that Stephane subscribe to a copyright clearing house if he hasn't done so already.

It is because dolly bodies aren't allowed on classic anymore. They removed everyones Custom that was a dolly style. I don't know why but rumors say Xor didn't like them could be true or could be copyright.

This is also the response I seem to be getting from the general support website. Just 1 sentence that doesn't help at all then "Issue Resolved" without the possibility of dialogue.

"Do not resubmit" usually means it breaks multiple rules, its telling you not to submit it again, not that you have already submitted it. (there is actually a submitted multiple times option for declining/accepting customs.)

As for why it was actually rejected I'd say.

Too Small
Doll body (if what santa said was true)
The second image looks like it may be a jpeg so, wrong file format
Possibly transparency issues if you didn't check the transparency box.

So no, it isn't the staff team's fault. Its messed up in a ton of ways.

Well if the original creator has uploaded the body to graal before there is no copyright issue with this, it belongs to Graal.

And generally any "copyright issues" with graphics on Graal are total BS. No major company is gonna go after a small game like Graal because they have fan-art of their own stuff, its pretty much free advertising. Graal won't get sued because there is hats being sold based off a Pokemon, or because some player uploaded a Spongebob head they made.

It's only on kawaiisisters, because I've known mic and Mia for a long time, and basically all their customs are scratch. I'd you do find it on a different website, they most likely wanted to share it, or you messed them up with a completely different body.

The only "pixel for pixel" bits that I can see are parts of the castle and the water/waterfall.

I'm obviously exaggerating a tad but yeah, a lot of pics1.png is pulled straight out of A Link to the Past. Some parts of Sardons that you see today are pixel for pixel copies out of ALttP.
