Thinking off of eras "global chat" that was a utter failure and waste of time. What if instead of having the chat all for era, but instead make it universal chat where anyone from any server can communicate with one another. There would be a public chat room, then game specific chat rooms, and private chat rooms. I think this would be neat

Kinda funny because you can already do this, well you can pm other players from different servers.

Or are you going for the thing Zodiac has where you can mass message, but to other servers, if so I agree.

Not everyone has that though. This would be open to everyone.

Don't see why you guys are shooting this down. We're trying to take some useless feature in era and turn it into something cool. It's not the same as just pming someone across different servers so stop interpreting it as that.  

i could only imagine all the fook era/classic spam between both sides.  

It's almost like the game itself is a chat room...HMMM

no this is NOT pming. by PM you may only message 1 person at a time. With the universal chat rooms, you can message groups of people at once from a different sever.  

Sounds like a really good idea! But would need a way to block harassive players or report them if necessary  

Honestly this just doesn't sound like a good idea to me, although it would be nice to communicate across the servers, I think it would just be rooms full of harassment and flame wars about who has the best server.  

Do you mean that the chat rooms would connect lets say, iEra and iClassic?  

I'm a fan of this idea. As far as moderation goes though...staff are going to have to work together.  

i vote player moderating where theres a delete button by every post made, if someone doesn't like the post, delete it, and a block list that would work the same way as blocking PMs does.
