Sleep paralysis in my dreams?
Ok, so last night i went to bed at around 12:30am from playing clash of clans, then when I was in bed I played graal and surfed the internet till about 1:30am. I got to sleep about 2am. I was dreaming, I was in a shopping center and I was shouting at a teacher, while sliding down some large winded stair case. ( I had this teacher yesterday while I was at school and people were shouting at her). Then the scene changed to, me sleeping in my room from a first person perspective view. I was in my bedroom, sleeping. I was experiencing sleep paralysis in my dream, so I tried to wake up. I did (in my dream) then i was in the same scenario (in my dream) I tried to move my body in my dream and talk, but I couldn't because I was expericening sleep paralysis, I finally woke up again (in my dream) and I was of course in the same situation with experiencing sleep paralysis. I tried to wake up, and did so I went up and went to my bedroom door. But then I suddenly got warped into my bed and was experiencing sleep paralysis in my dream, this continued about 3-4 times I think. Then I was in sleep paralysis state again (in my dream), I managed to wake up (still in my dream) then I went to get some water, I didn't drink it. Then eventually I finally actually woke up from the dream. And I looked at the clock, it was 2:40am... I looked around, the dream seemed to last so long, and I was so bored in it, actually that night i read about lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis experiences Ect. Also right after I woke up, I moved around in bed to feel more comfortable. I was glad to have a sense of realization again. It was as though I was in a parallel universe/ different realm. I could physically feel in this dream. A few days before that (about 2) I had a lucid dream, I could physically feel in that one too. I hope none of you experience a dream like this, as it is annoying and scary. But after I woke up from the dream, I didn't feel tired. I must have been having REM in my dream. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapid_eye_movement_sleep http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream |

I've had a few sleep paralysis as well. It mostly happens when you're trying to lucid dream ,staying up too late, tired etc. I have to admit It's pretty damn scary sometimes. The mistake from what I've read so far is when you're on a paralysis state you should not force yourself to wake up or to move your body. When you experience sleep paralysis, immediately close your eyes for a few seconds and then you'll get back to sleep. Don't let your eyes open because you might see (most likely from your imagination/dream) some creepy ****. |

The dream I had last night was repeating the same scene I was in for about 5 times. I woke up from sleep paralysis in my dream, then that repeated about 5 times. When I woke up in my dream, went to the door, then finally I actually woke up. My dream lasted about 30 mins.

@Neil, did you attempt to have a lucid dream last night? That may be the cause. Corvo's method works best imo, just close your eyes until you fall asleep again. |

Not sure about Neil, when I experience sleep paralysis my eyes are open, I'm seeing my actual room. He seems to have dreamt being in sleep paralysis, meaning you're lucid dreaming and no better off I suppose. |
