What about the engine itself? I'm not big on HL3/sequels to games in general, so I was more so just adding that in as an extra detail.

Graphics are meh like they've always been. Only judging an entire engine on a screenshot though isnt really fair. Someone could have easily done this as a personal project and slapped Valve and source on it, this really doesnt tell us anything.. |

They don't name their engines like that. Source "2" is the 2007 build I believe. The latest was released just last year, so I doubt a new build will be coming any time soon seeing as how valve is currently busy with SteamOS and multimedia features for the steam client.
