Is this a good Gaming Desktop/Suggestions..
I have been wishing years for a gaming desktop and just now I can finally afford one. However, I am skeptical since I am not an expert in this field. I have no idea how to build one, so please don't suggest it I'd love to, but I can't. I can only resort to prebuilt computers.I found this one in CyberPowerPC; CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.50 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology HDD: 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive) MEMORY: 16GB (8GBx2) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory (ADATA XPG V2) MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P AMD 970 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 4 Classic, On/Off Charge, GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 2 PCI SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+46] (Powered by MSI [Free 3DMark Advanced Edition coupon w/ MSI video card] [-20]) Good for gaming? I'd like to play on high settings especially sims 3 and it's expansion packs along with LoL, PayDay2, and other games that require a nice gaming computer ;-; If it is not a good gaming desktop, do you mind finding me one? My budget is $900. I will give rep to anyone who helps. Thank you so much for reading/helping! |

I don't know if prices have changed much, but if you go SSD you need an HDD as well anyways. SSD for Windows installation(and maybe games you want to put on it), HDD for other stuff. Last I remember, it's hard to find a decently large SSD drive without breaking the bank.
